RAINBOW SEEDS AGAIN HAS

NEW THINGS TO OFFER

We at Rainbow Seeds firmly believe genetic technology is the key to your success. In an effort to bring you the most diverse and advanced products we have recently obtained a license to market Greenleaf genetic products. This not only will give us access to over 300 new inbreds, it will provide us with dozens of new trait combinations.

In the next 3 years we will be introducing the following new traits:

  1. Broad lepidopteran control (broad lep.). This trait protects against RW/ECB/WBCW/CEW/FAW at all stages of insect development.

  2. Yield enhancement through nitrogen utilization (N.U.) often referred to as drought tolerant corn.

  3. Non Monsanto RoundUp resistant corn and soybeans (GT).

  4. RoundUp and ALS resistant corn and soybeans (Optimum Gat).

We're excited about these new products. We're confident they will increase production and improve your bottom line.

Rainbow Seed has identified hybrids that have added value to the ethanol industry. HFC - highly fermentable corn, HES - high extractable starch. Ask your processor what they prefer.

Rainbow 3035

This hybrid is genetically different than anything we've offered before. A clear yield winner in the 102-105 day plots earned this variety a place in our lineup. Excellent seedling vigor will get this one off to a good start when the weather doesn't cooperate. Keep the population up and you won't be disappointed. Rel. Mat. 103, GDU 2230.

Rainbow 3066

Impressive performance for a short season plant. this hybrid has so much potential we decided to release it early. A workhorse female, crossed with a high yielding pollinator, add up to a great agronomic package. Data suggests it performs well everywhere but really shines in the central and western corn belt. A great variety to have when you want to start the combine early. Rel. Mat. 106. GDU 2275

Rainbow 3078

Lean and mean, a slim line hybrid that's a very efficient producer. Good early vigor and rapid growth finishes this variety ahead of the pack. It's not an impressive looking hybrid but when you start combining you won't be disappointed. Highly adaptable north to south and east to west. Everyone can use this variety. Rel. Mat. 107, G.D.U. 2290.

Rainbow 3099

Finally, a workhorse hybrid that will consistently outyield 3100. In the plots or on the farm this variety is consistent, consistent, consistent. Excellent yields with fast dry down makes this plant a very efficient producer. Have the combine ready, it's always dryer than it looks. Rel. Mat. 109, GDU 2330.

Rainbow 3105

A great pollinator brings new life to an old favorite. We're confident this hybrid will put us in the record books once again. The only thing better than 3100 is 3100 + 15 bushels. You can be confident over the long run 3105 will have the highest average yield. Rel. Mat. 110, GDU 2340.

Rainbow 3116

Another big yielder from Rainbow Seeds. A full 10 bushels better than 3122, when we saw this one it was time to move on. Good genetic diversity gives this hybrid a distinct advantage over its predecessor. Another variety that really responds to top management. Rel. Mat. 111, G.P.U. 2350.
